Intel is an American multinational technology company with offices in Cambridge, MA. Intel invests billions of dollars into Israel, buys up Israeli tech companies, and operates several facilities in Israel. When questioned about building a facility on the Al-Faluja pocket, Intel spokesman Chuck Mulloy responded: "We don't think it's appropriate for us now to question the Israeli government. We cannot insert ourselves into the middle of what is really a political issue." Intel is also planning to open yet another facility in Haifa.
Intel has also received a wide array of contracts from the US Department of Defense for the provision of products and services to the US military. In one such contract from 2021, the US DoD hired Intel "to diversify designs and increase onshore manufacturing of chips used in DoD electronics and IT systems."
