You can type an entity's name. E.g.: MIT will show first all entities that have the keyword in their name (highlighted in yellow in dropdown). Entities that have the keyword anywhere in their description will also appear in dropdown (without highlighting).

To see entities of a specific type, use (Entity type).
E.g.: (police) will show all Police entities.

To see entities by harm category, use [Harm category].
E.g.: [health harm] will show all entities that engage in Health Harm.

To see entities by a specific master-entity, use {Master entity}.
E.g.: {harvard university} for all entities with master entity of Harvard University.

To see entities by link type, enter ‑‑Link‑type‑‑ (replace spaces with hyphens).
E.g., to see all entities that have Financial Support links, type ‑‑financial‑support‑‑.

To see entities by the entity they're linked to, enter ‑‑Entity‑name‑‑ (replace spaces with hyphens).
E.g., to see all entities that are linked to Harvard University, type ‑‑harvard‑university‑‑.

To see entities by link type and the entity they are linked to, use: ‑‑Link‑type‑‑Entity‑name‑‑ (replace spaces in link type with hyphens).
E.g.: to see entities that Collaborate with Harvard University, type ‑‑collaboration‑‑harvard-university‑‑.

You can combine search by type with keyword search.
E.g.: To see all Weapons/Robotics entities that Collaborate with Harvard University or its police department, type (weapo --collaboration--harvard-univ (with the "or" search conjunction). By contrast, the search (weapo ‑‑collab ‑‑harvard‑univ will yield all the Weapons/Robotics entities with at least one Collaboration link and one link (any type) to Harvard University or its police department.

Keyword search can be combined with the link filtering. E.g.: to see all the Collaborations and Partnerships between Harvard University and MIT, select the two entities from the keyword search, select "Between selected entities." under "Show Links," and then clear all links types and select only Collaboration and Partnership. (You can see all links of these types between Harvard, MIT, and all other entities by selecting "Between selected entities and all other entities.")

More examples:
To see all Collaborations between Weapons/Robotics and universities, clear all entity types, select only Weapons/Robotics and University, and then clear all link types and select Collaboration.
