The Base's website states they are "the nation's largest Air Force Reserve base [and] home to more than 5,500 military and civilian workers." The website further boasts that their reservists have provided support to US military interventions in Afghanistan (2001-2021), Iraq (2003-2020), Haiti (2010), Bosnia (1996), Haiti (1994), Somalia (1992), Iraq/Kuwait (1990-1991), and Panama (1989).
