Harpoon is a well-known craft beer company based in Boston, MA. Harpoon has partnered with the Israeli company Desalitech, which specializes in water reuse and purification, to filter water from the Charles River. As the Times of Israel reported in 2015, Desalitech's co-founder Nadav Efraty "pointed to trade missions between Massachusetts and Israeli business leaders as a catalyst for Desalitech’s move to the Bay State, where hundreds of Israeli-founded companies generate billions of dollars for the economy each year."
